# Supported Reservable Services

The full list of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud reservable services Archera supports: reserved instances, savings plans, CUDs, and Guaranteed Commitments.

Archera buys and manages **52 different cloud commitments** across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. You can buy every one of them as a standard 1-year or 3-year commitment. You can buy most of them as a **Guaranteed Commitment**, which is a 30-day or 1-year term with a moneyback guarantee.

* **AWS:** 11 commitments. See [AWS commitment options](#aws-commitment-options).
* **Azure:** 24 commitments. See [Azure commitment options](#azure-commitment-options).
* **Google Cloud:** 17 commitments. See [Google Cloud commitment options](#google-cloud-commitment-options).

If a service is not in a table below, Archera does not buy it today. See [What Archera does not cover](#what-archera-does-not-cover).

### Cloud Price Catalog

The **Price Catalog** shows the live on-demand price of every AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud SKU. It marks which SKUs are reservable. It also shows the custom rates your organization has negotiated.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Last verified: 17 September 2026.** These tables list what the Archera platform buys today. They do not list everything the cloud providers sell. We update this page when we add a service. To ask for a service, contact <support@archera.ai>.
{% endhint %}

## How to read these tables

<table><thead><tr><th width="194.2890625">Column</th><th>What it means</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Service</strong></td><td>The cloud service that the commitment discounts.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Standard terms</strong></td><td>The provider's native commitment. Archera purchases native commitments at the provider's rate and transparently offers them to you at no additional cost.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Guaranteed terms</strong></td><td>An Archera Guaranteed Commitment. You get a short term and a moneyback guarantee.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Payment options</strong></td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, or All Upfront.</td></tr></tbody></table>

A Guaranteed Commitment is the same underlying provider commitment. Archera adds the guarantee and takes the risk. Read [What are Guaranteed Commitments?](/help-center/guaranteed-commitments/what-are-guaranteed-commitments.md) and [Premiums and Term Lengths](/help-center/guaranteed-commitments/premiums-and-terms.md).

## AWS commitment options

Archera supports 11 AWS commitments: 7 Reserved Instance types and 4 Savings Plan types.

### AWS Reserved Instances

<table><thead><tr><th width="254.4765625">Service</th><th width="137.78515625">Standard terms</th><th width="145.94140625">Guaranteed terms</th><th>Payment options</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>EC2</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>RDS</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>ElastiCache</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>MemoryDB</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>OpenSearch</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Redshift Reserved Nodes</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>DynamoDB</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>Not available</td><td>Partial Upfront</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
Archera does not support Redshift Serverless at this time.
{% endhint %}

### AWS Savings Plans

<table><thead><tr><th width="234.31640625">Savings Plan</th><th>Standard terms</th><th width="165.82421875">Guaranteed terms</th><th>Payment options</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Compute Savings Plan</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>EC2 Instance Savings Plan</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>SageMaker Savings Plan</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, Partial Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Database Savings Plan</td><td>1 year</td><td>30 day</td><td>No Upfront</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Lambda, Fargate, ECS, and EKS do not have their own commitment.** AWS discounts them through a Compute Savings Plan. Buy a Compute Savings Plan and the discount applies to that spend automatically.
{% endhint %}

## Azure commitment options

Archera supports 24 Azure commitments: 22 reservation types and 2 savings plan types.

### Azure compute and licenses

### Azure data and analytics

<table><thead><tr><th width="227.33203125">Service</th><th width="143.72265625">Standard terms</th><th width="151.984375">Guaranteed terms</th><th>Payment options</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Azure Databricks</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>1 year</td><td>All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Azure Data Explorer</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Azure Data Factory v2</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Azure Synapse Analytics Data Warehouse Capacity</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Azure Synapse Analytics Pre Purchase Plan</td><td>1 year</td><td>Not available</td><td>All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Microsoft Fabric</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Azure storage, backup, and security

<table><thead><tr><th width="254.4375">Service</th><th width="133.4765625">Standard terms</th><th width="145.4140625">Guaranteed terms</th><th>Payment options</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Storage</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Azure NetApp Files</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Backup</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td><td>No Upfront, All Upfront</td></tr><tr><td>Microsoft Defender for Cloud</td><td>1 year</td><td>Not available</td><td>All Upfront</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Some Azure services have no reservation of their own.** An Azure Compute Savings Plan discounts them instead. This covers several container and app services. See Microsoft's [eligible services list](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/savings-plan/savings-plan-compute-overview).
{% endhint %}

## Google Cloud commitment options

Archera supports 17 Google Cloud commitments. Google calls them **Committed Use Discounts**, or CUDs. Google Cloud provide two kinds of CUDs.

* **Spend-based CUDs** commit you to an hourly dollar amount on one service.
* **Resource-based CUDs** commit you to an amount of Compute Engine hardware in one region.

{% hint style="info" %}
All Google Cloud commitments are No Upfront commitments.
{% endhint %}

### Spend-based Committed Use Discounts

<table><thead><tr><th width="327.90625">Service</th><th>Standard terms</th><th>Guaranteed terms</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Compute Engine</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Google Kubernetes Engine</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Cloud Run</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Cloud SQL</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>AlloyDB for PostgreSQL</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Spanner</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Bigtable</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Firestore</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Memorystore</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>BigQuery</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Dataflow</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Managed Service for Apache Kafka</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Google Cloud NetApp Volumes</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Backup and DR Service</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Backup for GKE</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr><tr><td>Gemini Enterprise Flexible Savings Plan</td><td>1 year, 3 year</td><td>30 day, 1 year</td></tr></tbody></table>

### Resource-based Committed Use Discounts

Resource-based CUDs apply to Compute Engine hardware. You commit to each resource separately.

| Resource  | Standard terms | Guaranteed terms |
| --------- | -------------- | ---------------- |
| vCPU      | 1 year, 3 year | 30 day, 1 year   |
| RAM       | 1 year, 3 year | 30 day, 1 year   |
| Local SSD | 1 year, 3 year | 30 day, 1 year   |
| GPU       | 1 year, 3 year | 30 day, 1 year   |

{% hint style="warning" %}
**GPU commitments have limits.** Google restricts commitments on its newest accelerator families. Archera blocks the families Google will not sell a commitment for. See [Low Capacity Instances (GPUs)](/help-center/guaranteed-commitments/low-capacity-instances.md).
{% endhint %}

## Frequently asked questions

These are the questions we get most. In each case, the answer is the same. There are no commitment options from the provider, or Archera does not support the service yet. To ask for service updates, contact <support@archera.ai>.

### What Archera does not cover?

#### AWS

<table><thead><tr><th width="287.203125">Service</th><th>Why it is not listed</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Amazon S3</strong></td><td>There are no commitment options for Amazon S3 at this time. Use storage classes and lifecycle rules to reduce S3 costs.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Amazon EBS</strong></td><td>There are no commitment options for Amazon EBS at this time.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>AWS Lambda, Fargate, ECS, EKS</strong></td><td>These have no separate commitment. A Compute Savings Plan discounts them.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Redshift Serverless</strong></td><td>Archera does not support Redshift Serverless at this time.</td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="info" %}
An older version of this page listed **EBS** and **S3** as supported. That was incorrect. There are no commitment options for either service at this time.
{% endhint %}

#### Azure

| Service | Why it is not listed |
| --------------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **GitHub (through Azure)** | Archera does not buy this commitment yet. |
| **Microsoft Sentinel** | Archera does not buy this commitment yet. |
| **Azure AI Foundry Models** | Archera does not buy this commitment yet. |

#### Google Cloud

<table><thead><tr><th width="376.90625">Service</th><th>Why it is not listed</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Google Cloud VMware Engine</strong></td><td>Archera does not buy this commitment yet.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>GKE Autopilot</strong></td><td>Archera does not buy this commitment yet. Standard GKE is supported.</td></tr></tbody></table>

### What is coming next?

Archera supports AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud today. The tables above list every commitment Archera offers.

Each new service needs work on our side before Archera can offer it on our platform. Tell us which service you need so we can work with you on a release timeline (contact <support@archera.ai>).

### Does Archera charge for standard commitments?

No. Archera buys standard reserved instances, savings plans, and CUDs at the provider's own rate. The Archera platform itself is free. Archera only charges a premium on Guaranteed Commitments, and only when our guaranteed commitments save you money.

### How is a Guaranteed Commitment different?

A standard commitment locks you in for 1 or 3 years. A Guaranteed Commitment gives you a 30-day or 1-year term with a moneyback guarantee. If you do not use it, Archera refunds the unused part. Read [What are Guaranteed Commitments?](/help-center/guaranteed-commitments/what-are-guaranteed-commitments.md).

### Does Archera add new services automatically?

No. Each service needs work on our side before we can buy it. We add services on a schedule and update this page each time. Tell us which service you need and we will tell you the date.

### Where do I buy these in the product?

Open the Commitment Planner. It shows only the commitments your accounts can use. Read [Commitment Planner - Overview](/help-center/user-guide/commitment-planner.md).

To look up the price of one SKU first, open the [Price Catalog](https://app.archera.ai/price-catalog).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.archera.ai/help-center/getting-started/supported-reservable-services.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
